…..hbo released the first episode of the gossip girl reboot. as a treat.

if you still think about aviva drescher throwing her prosthetic leg on rhony after declaring it was the only fake thing about her, you will enjoy the gossip girl reboot.

of course i loved it. shows like kyle xy, pretty little liars, riverdale, dynasty (original and reboot), awkward, the oc and of course the original gossip girl walked so a show where (instead of dan humphrey; no i will never be over That) a group of underpaid teachers can stalk their students “to teach them a lesson” by exposing/blasting their secrets to the world could run?

“we are supposed to send them out of here barack obamas instead of brett kavanaughs” is an actual line the former tenant that paid rent by promoting the apartment on instagram (real life not on the show) utters as a rally cry for her coworkers to get behind being Gossip Girl 2.0.

does the plot make sense? no! will i be tuning in every thursday? yes! is evan mock the next meryl streep? :-)
