being a madonna fan is embarrassing. perhaps in the 80s when she was doing more of pushing boundaries and less horrifying instagram posts, it was not so. but in the year 2021, the madonna episode of glee is one of the least embarrassing Moments in madge’s long career.

but the discography speaks for itself!!! even justin timberflake is made listenable (if only for 4 minutes). when i first started hearing of a new podcast that would be called “like a virgin”, i was intrigued! could it be that, like the office and every other syndicated television show, mother madge would be joining the podcast arena as a topic to be studied and recapped?? but it turns out, madonna is only present in spirit and name alone!
