normally, we would use this quarter’s slot of bggc to cover a a film, television show, or album that has changed/is currently changing my life but this past sunday marked the eightieth birthday of the woman i love dearly who has contributed GREATLY to all three of those categories. the first ever college essay assignment i wrote was a topic of our choosing that “we were passionate about” so of course i wrote about barbra being an egot winner. i searched high and low in my documents for that original work of art but (probably thankfully) it remains to be one of the few traces of my presence online that has disappeared into The Void.
